It’s always recommended you follow the service intervals that appear on your owner’s manual. Generally speaking and depending on the oil this should be every 5,000 miles or 150 days giving priority to miles rather than time passed since the last oil change. You should ALWAYS get an oil change as soon as you buy a used car.
Just like oil changes, you should follow what your vehicle’s manufacturer recommends. A common misconception is that transmission fluid only ought to be replaced when the transmission starts to have problems like slipping or skipping gears. In reality, when this happens it's already too late for a transmission fluid replacement and it can in fact damage the transmission even more now that the fresh clean fluid is washing off and lubricating parts, shavings, scabs of metal in the transmission that were held in place with the old, more viscous fluid.
Master Tech Auto Services is an OSR Station, this means that every time you want to get your vehicle’s registration renewed we can take care of both the emissions and the renewal. No need to go to the DMV. We do not process first time registrations and/or Utah plates however.
Vehicle alignment can be performed for multiple reasons. If you notice that you have uneven tread wear in your tires like the inner side of the tire is visibly more worn out than the outer, or your driver side tire looks more worn that your passenger side. Another good reason to have your alignment checked is if your vehicle “pulls” to either side when driving. This can happen due to low air pressure in one of the tires, but it could also be due to problems with your wheel alignment or worn out/damaged suspension parts like control arms or a tie rod end.
